On December 13, 2023 at the Cafe Vitale Italian Restaurant in Los Altos, SIR Branch #62 held its annual Christmas Dinner. The doors opened at 5:00pm. We had 36 in attendance. Because space was limited, we didn't have a band this year.
Heber welcomed us all to the "67-n th" Christmas event (SIR was chartered 67 years ago. n is the number we've missed.)
Dinner consisted of a salad and prosciutto & cheese for starter. Our entree of Salmon, Chicken, or Lasagna was served at about 7:00pm, followed by a choice of sorbet or spumoni.
The occasion was festive, joyful, and very social. Host and 2023 Big Sir Heber Slusser welcomed everyone. Several of the activity chairmen gave updates. Heber then introduced the 2024 officers, including 2024 Big Sir Mike Miller. The night concluded with Roger Falberg leading us in song. It appeared that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
